Clark County GIS Management Office
July 17, 2002
For a fee, the Clark County GIS Management Office (GISMO) provides electronic copies of various Assessor's Office data sets. Although GISMO provides the actual data, prior approval must be obtained from the Assessor's Office before data can be disseminated. Below is the sequence of steps that must be accomplished.
1. Customer contacts the GISMO to have them create a new Product Tracking System (PTS) entry containing basic contact information, data requested including extent of spatial data and identification of tabular data and brief description of the data's intended use to be put in the notes section.
2. Customer prints a copy of the Clark County Assessor's Office Parcel Data Agreement and fills in the appropriate user information, including company name and person responsible for the data agreement. The customer then faxes the form to the GISMO at (702) 455-4932
3. GISMO will then print out the PTS entry, join it with the faxed form and forward both to the Clark County Assessor's Office.
4. Upon an approval E-mail from the Clark County Assessor's Office, GISMO will fulfill the data request and contact the customer on completion. GISMO will update PTS with approval information.
6. If approval is denied by Clark County Assessor's Office, GISMO will forward that information to the customer. If the customer has a question regarding the status of a request or the reason for denial, the customer can contact the Clark County Assessor's Office at (702) 455-3881.
This agreement will be kept on file with the Assessor's office. Once a year they will send out a new form to update their records.
